After 5 months in Corona lockdown, i’m happy and proud to announce my new ROD album ‘Rod20 In The Mix’.

‘Rod20 In The Mix’ consists of 13 brand new dancefloor focussed ROD tracks made during Covid19 and takes you for a 60min 140bpm ride trough a broad variety of 90’s inspired techno like most of you have come to expect from my various ROD club & festival-sets.

After the dutch lockdown kicked in i decided to challenge myself to produce music with strictly vintage analogue hardware synthesizers and drummachine’s, recorded in 1 take on casette or DAT.

The biggest challenge during this new adventure was that i didn’t want to involve the computer at all and instead create music as pure, raw and direct as possible.

Despite these weird uncertain (depressive) times, this oldschool way of working resulted in the most excited inspiring studio-fun i ever had.

Eventually i ended up making around 300 new tracks of which i selected my favourite 40 cuts for a private dj-set in my mancave. After recording the perfect mix i was so surprised with the results, I spontaneously decided to launch this new project on a 90’s nostalgic mix-cd format; Rod20 In The Mix :)

'Rod20 In The Mix' includes the mix-cd+ high quality (wav. or aiff.) download of all 13 full length tracks & mix, in case you want to play the music on your phone, dj-set or where ever you please.

‘Rod20 In The Mix’ is quite a (if i may so so) unique ROD collecters-item that will be available on cd (+ digital) only for the rest of the year, before spreading most of these tracks out over 4 seperate vinyl releases in 2021.

since this is a very personal and special oldschool inspired project for me, i decided to not upload any samples online, so i guess you just have to trust me on this one ;)
